Hi, my name is Gerald J. Joseph and I have 30 years of experience working as a lifestyle wellness coach helping both adults and children improve their health, and brain wellness by using nature and science as my guide.

I came to the conclusion very early in my career, that people need help with motivation and the right plan to detox their bodies from the Western American diet, to lose and maintain a healthy weight, to strengthen their muscles, to become more flexible and to increase cardiovascular endurance – which leads to better sustained sleep, happiness and brain wellness. 

HealthCoach is a lifestyle wellness program, developed after years of research, observation and practice – emphasizing a return to a more holistic non-industrial diet, and a physical activity program that improves sleep, brain wellness that WORKS!

HealthCoach App

The HealthCoach App is a biometric tracking and HIPAA-compliant communication App, guided by a medical doctor and health coach. The App has the ability to manage patient/client biomarker data (steps, weight, BMI, blood pressure, continuous blood glucose, health rate and sleep) and, if desired, can be scaled to manage mutable coaches at additional medical practices. A properly trained health coach can work with more than one hundred patients.

The Science of HealthCoach

There has been a dramatic shift in the leading causes of death in the US in the past 100 years. Whereas infectious diseases were the primary cause of death in the early 20th century, cardiovascular disease and cancer have now assumed dominance in mortality.

Additionally, obesity and diabetes are inflammatory conditions that not only contribute to cardiovascular disease and cancer but also serve as profound comorbidities; their shared etiologies promote one another.

A study from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health found that 50 -year-old women, who maintained five healthy habits — exercising at least 30 minutes a day, following a healthy diet, maintaining a body mass index in the normal range, having no more than one serving of alcohol a day, and not smoking — lived on average 10.7 more years free of diseases, including diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and cancer, compared with initially healthy women who practiced none of those habits at age 50.
